Slipstream Brewing Co. is an independent brewery based in Yeerongpilly, Brisbane. Established in 2017, we produce some of the most accessible and sessionable craft beer around. Inspired by US beer culture, we make the hops the heroes and brew with pure flavour in mind. We’re also proud holders of titles including Australia’s Champion Small Brewery (2025) and Queensland’s Champion Brewery (2024 & 2025).
Slipstream Social House in Birtinya brings the Slipstream experience to the Sunshine Coast, featuring outdoor dining, tasting paddles, cozy booths, a seasonal menu of share plates and grilled specialties, plus a calendar of fun events in a striking bar and restaurant setting. Alongside our award-winning beers, we serve well-executed cocktails and a carefully curated bourbon list — all delivered with a strong focus on genuine hospitality.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
* Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
* A natural leader who can run service, train staff, and step up in the Head Chef’s absence
* Strong food safety knowledge and high personal standards
* Positive, reliable, and professional attitude
* Calm under pressure with a solutions-focused mindset
* Available for a flexible roster including weekends and nights
* Full Australian working rights
