Due to strong business growth and increasing client demand, we are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Principal Consultant to join our Executive Recruitment team.
This senior position gives you the autonomy to run your own business within our organisation, managing the full process from business development to permanent placement, while leveraging our large national client base, strong referral network and opportunities to build new relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Source, screen and place technical and professional candidates across your chosen sectors
Manage and nurture long‑term relationships with clients and candidates
Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions
Proactively identify new business opportunities and drive growth with speed to market and quality recruitment
Facilitate the end‑to‑end recruitment process with integrity and professionalism, demonstrating value through structured professional submissions and finding hard‑to‑find candidates What's on Offer

Proven recruitment experience (perm) ideally within construction, trades, industrial or other sectors
Proven track record in building a client portfolio and sourcing hard‑to‑find candidates through headhunting in a competitive market, showing how you get candidates and clients to follow you through positive relationships
Strong business development and relationship management skills focused on long‑term clients, not transactional supply
Proactive, results‑driven attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to multi‑task and deliver strong outcomes quickly
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Genuine focus on candidate care and building deep client relationships
Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team
