Responsibilities
We're looking for a welcoming, professional and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Reception team at Fiona Stanley Hospital. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, delivering a positive experience from the moment they arrive. You'll play a vital role in creating a friendly and supportive environment while ensuring smooth access to hospital services.
Greeting and assisting patients, visitors and staff at the hospital reception desks
Providing clear and courteous directions and information about hospital facilities and services
Managing visitor access and ensuring security requirements are met
Handling enquiries in person, over the phone and via email with professionalism and empathy
Supporting hospital operations by following established procedures and escalation processes
Collaborating with colleagues across Facility Management to provide an exceptional experience
Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
A calm and qualified approach during high-pressure or sensitive situations
Previous experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
A current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable: experience in a healthcare, hospitality or call centre setting
