Retail Assistant – Leadership Opportunity
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Assistant, with the potential to be appointed into a leadership role. You will help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep our branch running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide customer service and information about products
* Provide quotes both in person and over the phone
* Undertake pick packing and stock control activities
* Help keep the branch tidy and safe
* Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
Requirements:
To succeed in this role you will need:
* Previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoy helping customers both in person and over the phone
* The ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate
* The ability to use a computer and learn new systems
* A clean, valid driver's licence and being open to working various shifts, including weekends
