Overview of the role

The Sales Enablement Specialist focuses on empowering sales teams with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to succeed. This includes onboarding new hires and providing continuous learning opportunities for experienced staff. The specialist acts as a bridge between sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.


Role and responsibilities

* Create role-based enablement journeys across various sales roles, including Sales Managers
* Develop and implement a product certification program for sales
* Conduct needs analysis to identify soft skills and sales skills requirements, and develop programs to address these
* Build engaging systems, tools, and processes for enablement
* Maintain and update enablement content to ensure accuracy and relevance
* Customize and scale enablement content to support channel growth, including agents and resellers
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs for enablement content
* Identify internal experts to deliver technical (product) training
* Analyze enablement metrics and post-training survey data to identify areas for improvement


Qualifications, Experience & Skills

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
* Experience designing and delivering sales enablement in the technology industry, especially hardware or deep tech
* Sales enablement certification from reputable sources (e.g., Sales Enablement Collective, ATD) is an advantage
* Experience managing enablement projects end-to-end with minimal supervision
* Proven ability to deliver training at all organizational levels, tailoring content and methods as needed, including small group activities
* Experience scheduling and managing both in-person and virtual training sessions
* Skills in maintaining content and content platforms
* Ability to track and analyze key enablement metrics
* Knowledge of digital asset options such as e-learning, videos, and podcasts
* Understanding of sales processes and methodologies like Challenger and MEDDPICC
* Ability to create engaging sales content, including presentations, case studies, videos, e-learning, and podcasts
* Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with sales teams and understand their needs
* Familiarity with Salesforce and Google Suite applications is preferred
