In Community & Allied Health, your wellbeing matters. We understand the importance of work-life balance and may be able to offer flexible working arrangements, including school hours, shorter shifts, or casual roles. This role offers a 5-day service from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday to Friday, delivering high-quality nursing care in an outpatient setting - either in our clinic settings or in patients’ homes within the Ceduna area. This position can be based at Ceduna or Streaky Bay, with services rostered across the Ceduna and Streaky Bay area. There is the option of job sharing, with the possibility of sharing the FTE with another applicant. You’ll be part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team working alongside many specialist teams. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct person-centred nursing care and individual case management to patients in a variety of community health settings. Support the development of nursing practice by guiding less experienced staff and students. Demonstrating sound knowledge and an understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse/Midwife within a health care setting, you will bring the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Manage and prioritise your workload effectively to meet care delivery goals. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring patient safety and optimal care standards. What We're Looking For: Registered Nurse with at least 3 years FTE of post-registration experience. Solid wound care knowledge with a broad understanding of wound care dressings and the healing process. Ability to lead, support, and mentor other nursing staff, including students and enrolled nurses. Commitment to consumer and family-centred care. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.
