You will be working as part of a close-knit team, supporting the development and implementation of ministry programs and ensuring smooth operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in the facilitation of activities, packing food and materials for community members.
* Providing pastoral care to volunteers and community members, maintaining a supportive and caring environment.
* Managing group dynamics, ensuring enjoyment and responding to individual needs.
* Engaging in confidential debriefs with the Ministry Leader, recording concerns and follow-ups.
* Facilitating connections between community centre users and local Salvation Army mission initiatives.
Requirements
* Commitment to Christian faith required.
* Experience in developing and evaluating ministries.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Effective planning, coordination, and organisational skills.
* Relevant field experience or studies in ministry and social work.
