As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing a business-wide customer value strategy. This is a senior leadership opportunity that requires strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and high-impact stakeholder engagement.
About the Role
Reporting into the General Manager Central Commercial, the successful candidate will lead regular pricing forums, presenting to Business Unit General Managers and Executive teams to ensure alignment with our pricing policies and consistent execution of our value agenda in line with our compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement Coles' value strategy, being one of Coles' strategic pillars in the broader business strategy.
* Drive cross-functional alignment to land our value strategy with our customers.
* Ensure effective and efficient use of Coles' value investment to enhance customer price perception, trust, and transaction/basket growth.
* Identify and capture pricing opportunities to improve trading performance (sales and margin).
* Lead capability uplift across Merchandise teams, embedding pricing and value disciplines and compliance through robust governance and processes.
* Streamline cross-functional workflows and merchandise-specific initiatives using technology to enhance both team experience and performance.
