Are you a motivated and experienced Service Supervisor ready to lead a high-performing team? CPG is seeking a hands‐on, solutions‐focused individual to oversee the day‐to‐day operations of our workshop and field service teams. This leadership role is key to maintaining service efficiency, technical excellence, and outstanding customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As Service Supervisor, you'll coordinate workflow, allocate resources, and support both workshop and field service operations. You'll be responsible for job scheduling, quoting, invoicing, technician performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Collaboration with internal departments will be critical to ensuring seamless service delivery and positive customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee daily workshop and field service operations
* Allocate jobs, manage workflow, and track job progress through to completion
* Prepare service quotes, review job cards, and manage invoicing and customer updates
* Work closely with the Parts team to ensure timely availability of required components
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to support repeat business
* Mentor and supervise apprentices, ensuring their training and development is on track
* Monitor technician performance and provide coaching and support as required
* Uphold and promote workplace health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a mechanical, diesel, or industrial service environment
* Trade qualification (preferred) or extensive hands‐on experience in relevant sectors (marine, industrial, mining, or power generation)
* Solid understanding of heavy‐duty diesel engines
* Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
* Working knowledge of WHS legislation and safety best practices
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and service management systems
* Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
