Key Details Initial Term: 12-month contract Extension Option: Additional 12 months potential for second extension Location: ACT-based hybrid role (minimum 3 days onsite per week) Eligibility: Australian Citizens Clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline Security Clearance Start Date: From 1 July 2025 (dependent on project commencement timelines) What You’ll Be Doing Lead end-to-end business analysis across IT and transformation projects Develop detailed and high-quality documentation: business cases, requirements, process maps, use cases, and procedures Analyse and redesign business processes and user journeys Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, SMEs, project teams and vendors Support continuous improvement across platforms and business operations What You’ll Bring 5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within government programs or projects Proven technical writing skills and ability to produce business-critical documentation Strong stakeholder engagement, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities Business Analyst certification (e.g. CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or similar) Experience supporting change driven by legislation or regulation Background in safety-focused or regulatory environments (e.g. maritime, road, air) Desirable Experience Projects involving incident or emergency response management Business blueprinting or non-technical outcome documentation Agile delivery using Azure DevOps and facilitation of scrums Experience with platforms such as Dynamics 365, SmartIQ, HTML forms, identity management, and portals If you're looking for a hands-on role where you can shape meaningful change across regulatory, safety, and legislative programs, and bring your expertise in Dynamics 365 and business process improvement to the table, we’d love to hear from you.
