About the Role
As Property Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse retail portfolio, managing lease renewals and options and supporting the Franchise Owners through the process. In addition there is a focus on new site openings. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with landlords, agents, solicitors, and franchisees.
Key responsibilities include:
* Negotiating lease renewals, options, and relocations within agreed commercial parameters.
* Researching and analysing market data to support decision-making.
* Reviewing lease documentation and negotiating lease terms.
* Advising and supporting franchisees on lease-related issues.
* Maintaining accurate property data and reporting on portfolio performance.
* Working with projects team on new sites and refurbishments.
* Partnering with regional operations teams to align property strategy with business needs.
About You
* We are seeking a commercially astute property professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. You will bring:
* Proven experience in lease negotiation and property management (retail or franchising highly regarded).
* Strong knowledge of retail lease legislation and commercial leasing practices.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* High attention to detail, reporting capability, and proficiency with property systems.
* Able to travel interstate for 1 week each quarter.
* Driver's license and confident to travel between sites in NSW and QLD.
