As a Pathology Collector, your primary responsibilities will include specimen collection and processing accurate data entry and managing customer inquiries.
* Collecting and processing patient specimens for laboratory testing ensures that the highest quality data is obtained from each sample collected.
This includes maintaining accurate records of specimen collection and test results which are critical in enabling healthcare professionals to provide patients with the best possible treatment options.
* You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers regarding their specimen collection and test results.
* A diploma in medical science or laboratory technology would be advantageous.
* Strong communication interpersonal and team working skills are essential in order to communicate with both colleagues and customers effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
* Experience with laboratory information systems and software would be beneficial.
