We are seeking a Food Studies Technician to support our teaching staff in maintaining and organising the food technology classrooms and College Café. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in food preparation, practical food hygiene knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills.
1. Food Safety and Hygiene knowledge
2. Maintenance and organisation of food technology classrooms
3. Assisting teachers and students as needed
About this role:
This is a part-time fixed term contract until the end of Term 4, 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as food purchasing, collection and set up for class demonstrations, organising repairs and maintenance of kitchen equipment, coordinating and cleaning kitchen areas and café as required.
