Role Overview:
* Acting as the main link between the finance function and the business, providing proactive insight based on in-depth business knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand business requirements and embed a culture of continuous improvement.
* Engage with other streams within finance to gain a clear understanding of financial processes and alignment.
* Responsible for creating and leading partnerships between the business and the wider finance function.
* Budgeting management for projects IPP, solutions, and UGMC.
* Monthly cost reviews with projects operations versus forecast and budget.
* Forecasting input to Tagetik for all projects monthly costs.
* Support finance business partner projects with project P&L completion and review.
* Support modelling creation for the TC underground mine cooling and power for projects over $1m.
Professional Skills / Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or economics is a must.
* CPA, CA qualifications are desirable.
* Minimum 5 year financial or management accounting experience preferably in the energy sector.
* M3 or similar ERP system experience is desirable.
* Attention to detail, proactive and self-driven, good people interaction skills.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet timelines.
* Advanced Microsoft Applications skills, particularly Excel.
