PROK Conveyor Components are a privately-owned Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality conveyor components, conveyor pulleys, rollers, idlers and associated bulk materials handling components. Our products can be found throughout the Australian and international mining, construction, and industrial sectors.

PROK is a Conveyor Pulley OEM and offers a Pulley Refurbishment to complement our customers' requirements for high quality and reliable Conveyor Pulleys whilst also working with our product experts and engineers to help clients implement improvements to their pulleys for greater reliability.

**Our Opportunity**

To support our ongoing growth, PROK Conveyor Components is seeking an experienced Technical Service Manager that has had experience with Conveyors to join the team. The position is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Bayswater, WA. Working closely with the Engineering team the Technical Service Manager will attend various Customers' Mine Sites and assist our valued customers with engineering-related problems and provide solutions

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

- Lead the technical production of engineering designs across the engineering division
- Directly contributing to the progress of projects by ensuring that designs & drawings are produced according to the Project or Tender Program.
- Verification and signoff of designs
- Ensures that all designs produced meet the appropriate Standards and Regulations
- Ensure that appropriate risk mitigation strategies and processes are used to ensure design and financial outcomes are met
- Understanding of steelwork design to AS4100 / AS3990 / AS1170
- Understanding of Winch design and AS1418
- Assess short and long term needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities
- Establish the organisation objectives, programs, standards and targets within guidelines set by the board, owner or parent company
- Prepare budgets and forecasts for approval.
- Co-ordinate and monitor the activities of all functional areas ensuring appropriate communication between them in order to link to the overall strategy
- Ensure that appropriate risk mitigation strategies and processes are used to ensure contracted Project outcomes are met.
- Guide and mentor lead engineers and designers involved in projects to achieve the specified scope within budget, to acceptable quality and on time.
- Provide the necessary tools for design engineers to undertake the work as required.
- Implement and monitor accepted design engineeringpractices to achieve engineering.

- Develop key engineering specialty resources to enable PROK to differentiate in the market place.

**The Right person**

To be considered for this opportunity, the right person will have:

- Australian working rights
- Engineering degree / diploma or related discipline
- Minimum 10-years' experience in the engineering field of heavy industry and a minimum of 5 years as an Engineering Manager
- Demonstrated experience in all aspects of delivering engineering designs in a complex environment
- Experience in standards and design engineering processes
- Excellent communication skills written & Verbal
- Strong commitment to Health and Safety.
- Conveyor and fixed plant experience
- C class driver license
