Personal Care Worker - Home and Community
Enjoy a fulfilling, flexible casual care role covering from Ipswich to Toowoomba. You will be supported by a passionate team of people dedicated to delivering excellent standards and quality care.
It is a requirement for our community roles, all staff possess a reliable vehicle, valid Australian driver licence and be willing to travel throughout the region visiting clients in their own homes. Hours would be between 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.
About the role
Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices.
These include:
- Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming and showering
- Assistance to continue to live well and positively (e.g. transport to appointments, help at home)
- Engaging in social activities as required
- Domestic Assistance (e.g. house cleaning, hanging out washing, meal preparation)

To be successful, you will have:
- Cert III Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent qualifications
- Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
- Your own vehicle and Australian Drivers Licence
- Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Up-to-date flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Queensland driver licence and own vehicle for work use
