About the Role

As an emergency response team member, you will be part of a larger network of volunteers working together to help those in need.
You will have the flexibility to choose how and when you volunteer, allowing you to balance your commitments with your desire to make a positive impact.
* Engage in preparedness, response, and recovery activities to support communities before, during, and after emergencies.
* Develop skills to provide psychosocial support, training programs, and community development services.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete minimum 9 hours online learning and practical training in Psychological First Aid.
* Finish mandatory e-learning modules (x10) – duration approximately 9 hours.
* Demonstrate basic computer literacy.
* Obtain a National Police Check.
What We Offer
We provide a range of support to communities at-risk of disaster or that have experienced an emergency. Our team works collaboratively with stakeholders to provide training in psychological first aid, response, emergency management, and recovery.
