About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our facility tooling maintenance operations.
This key position requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities and associated assets are maintained to the highest standards, meeting regulatory requirements, and supporting efficient and safe production operations while minimizing downtime.
You will be the primary point of contact and engage with local site management, service providers, and contractors while working with local teams to ensure a safe and compliant work environment is provided to employees.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing facility management strategies to optimize production operations and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. This includes overseeing and carrying out the maintenance, repair, and modifications of all production facilities/equipment, including assembly areas, storage facilities, and support infrastructure.
You will also conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures. This will involve collaborating with the safety and compliance teams to ensure adherence to all relevant aviation regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
A strong background in general maintenance, preventative maintenance, and asset management strategies is essential, as well as experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will have excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to deal with senior stakeholders and translate operational requirements into actionable deliverables.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 3+ years' experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong general maintenance knowledge and understanding of preventative maintenance and asset management strategies.
* Experience working in a large matrix organization.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing production processes, regulations, and safety standards.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Experience dealing with senior stakeholders and translating operational requirements into actionable deliverables.
