Job Description
Plan, manage, and oversee daily transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
Monitor and improve operational processes to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards within the logistics department.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain seamless supply chain operations.
Manage and lead a team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Analyse transport data to identify trends and implement improvement strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with service providers and partners.
Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Transport Operations Manager Should Have
Proven experience in the Transport & Distribution industry, particularly in logistics operations.
A strong understanding of transportation processes and regulatory compliance.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in using logistics and transportation management systems.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
