Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer
Godolphin has an exciting opportunity for a part time Accounts Officer to join our team based at Kelvinside located near Aberdeen in the beautiful Hunter Valley NSW. The role is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities for accounts payable, receivables and purchase order processing in a timely and accurate manner. This role contributes to the finance function by providing sound advice and excellent customer service to the business. The responsibilities will be shared with another part time Accounts Officer. The preference is for the role to be performed over 4 days per week from 9:00am to 3pm.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving and processing purchase order requests from sites
* Sourcing and ordering products and services with suppliers
* Processing account applications.
* Good receipting processes.
* Attend to all Purchasing queries.
* Entering supplier invoices to accounting system
* Preparation of weekly supplier payment batches
* Prepare, verify, and process invoices for sales
* Process debtor receipts and internal recharges
* Provides support as required to the Finance team
Criteria:
* Prior experience in an accounts and/or purchasing related role
* Sound communication skills, both oral and written, with a natural attention to detail.
* Prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central or Navision) will be highly regarded.
* Proven data entry experience with high degree of accuracy, proficient with MS Office applications.
