Otway Heart is seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join our team on a contract basis. Based in Colac, VIC, this critical role will be responsible for performing high-quality echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct comprehensive transthoracic and stress echocardiograms to assess cardiac structure and function
* Provide detailed and accurate interpretations and reports of echocardiogram findings to support clinicians in patient diagnosis and treatment planning
* Collaborate closely with the cardiology team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care
* Commence January 2026
What we're looking for
* DMU qualification in cardiac sonography with current ASAR registration
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a qualified Cardiac Sonographer
* Demonstrated expertise in performing transthoracic and stress echocardiogram studies
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret complex echocardiogram findings
* Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clinicians and patients
* Commitment to providing the highest standards of patient care and upholding professional ethics
