Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Driving Instructor to facilitate the safe and effective delivery of driving instruction, specifically focusing on bus operations. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with our partnered Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to ensure that training plans are meticulously executed within designated time frames and aligned with Kinetic standards and legislative requirements.
This role is an influential position in developing a culture of professionalism and growth for our employees. As a Heavy Vehicle Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive driving training to prepare trainees for heavy vehicle license upgrades (from C class to MR/HR, as applicable).
You will develop and deliver engaging lessons, offering instruction on practical driving skills encompassing all facets of driving. Additionally, you will coordinate and conduct professional Driver induction training programs, specifically TLI31222 Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus).
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Safety Legislation and be able to maintain accurate records pertaining to training and safety protocols. We welcome candidates who are proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to excellence in their field.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE40116)
* Certificate IV Road Transport (TLI41310) - Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction desired
* Certificate III in Driving Operations (TLI31216) desired
* Minimum 2 years of experience in training and assessing Bus Drivers is preferred
* MR Driver's License is essential
* Familiarity with Heavy Vehicle and Passenger Transport legislation
