An established organisation in the industrial maintenance sector is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to lead safety, environment, and quality initiatives across a diverse operational portfolio. Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality
Champion a positive HSEQ culture and promote strong safety behaviours. Provide expert HSEQ advice, coaching, and operational support. Maintain and improve HSEQ systems, processes, and certification requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 / AS/NZS 4801). Manage incident notifications, investigations, and root‑cause analysis. Identify trends and develop targeted initiatives to reduce risk and prevent harm. Conduct audits, inspections, and continuous improvement activities. Prepare accurate HSEQ reporting and support tender submissions.
Leadership & Culture
Mentor and develop team members to build organisational capability. Promote a Zero Harm culture and encourage employee involvement in HSEQ matters. Support change initiatives and guide teams through organisational improvements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen safety outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in safety engineering, safety management, or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in HSEQ leadership within industrial, maintenance, or technical environments. Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills. Experience with external certification processes and regulatory compliance. Ability to influence, coach, and lead people through change. Commitment to building and sustaining a strong safety culture.
