Senior Anaesthetist
Werribee Mercy Hospital is a growing General Hospital on the outskirts of Melbourne. The Anaesthetic department is accredited for training with ANZCA and supports a developing elective and emergency surgical and perioperative service as well as busy obstetric and mental health units.
We are seeking Specialist Anaesthetists to provide quality client-focused care to patients, their family and carers, using a holistic approach.
Specialists within the Anaesthetic department will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing high-quality anaesthesia services to patients undergoing surgery or other medical procedures.
* Working effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
* Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, families and carers.
* Participating in continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest advances in anaesthesia practice.
Requirements:
* Eligibility for Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA).
* Advanced skills in airway management and respiratory physiology.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
