Description
We have an opportunity to join the Alice Springs warehouse team as a store person. This permanent role will be part of a small team of dedicated employees who play an important role in ensuring critical medical equipment and products are delivered to the Alice Springs hospital and healthcare facilities. A typical day will see you doing a variety of tasks including:
* Unloading of deliveries and putting away all of the stock
* Organising the days delivery runs based on sales order information
* Pick, pack and dispatch of customer orders
* Replenishment of stock into pick locations using forklift and at times, manual lifting.
* Maintain a safe and clean workspace
This role is Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.06pm with a 30 min lunch break
Uniforms are provided (hi-vis polo shirts, fleece jumper and either shorts or trousers)
Skills And Experiences
A career with a difference
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
* Prior experience in a warehouse is ideal, however we are willing to train the right person who is interested in a career in warehousing
* Current Drivers license
* Current Forklift license (LF)
* A good work ethic and willingness to learn
