Mechanical Apprentice Master and Quality Officer
An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced and passionate professional to take on the term contract, full-time role for up to 12 months of Mechanical Apprentice Master and Quality Officer within Blacktown City Council. Qualifications and experience
* Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Solid experience in a mechanical or automotive environment, including experience in vehicle maintenance, inspection, and repair
* Proven experience in training or mentoring apprentice mechanics, with a strong understanding of industry standards for apprenticeships.
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment)
* Familiarity with quality control processes in a mechanical workshop environment
* Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in the automotive industry, with experience in promoting and enforcing safe work practices.
Remuneration and benefits
* Entry level for this position starts at $1,451.97 per week
* Rostered Day Off (RDO) every fortnight
* Term Contract position - up to 12 months
