Key responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure the preparation of dishes is of a high standard and aligns with Six Degrees' creative flair.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during busy periods like live music nights.
Qualifications and experience:
Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a cook.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods.
Passion for food, creativity in cooking, and a keen eye for detail.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Available to work a rotating roster including weekends.
