Business Development Manager

The Colour Cartel produces custom apparel, uniforms and merch in-house across screen printing, digital and embroidery. We work with corporates, events, product brands and fast-moving businesses who care about quality and reliability.
We're growing quickly and we need someone who can win the right work.
The Role
No warm leads. No cruising. This is a hunting role. You'll be accountable for delivering big sales targets and winning the right work.
You'll be responsible for prospecting and winning new B2B accounts, securing larger long-term corporate clients, and running the full outbound cycle from meetings and quoting through to negotiating and closing.
You'll protect margin (no lazy discounting), keep a clean pipeline, forecast properly, and stay aligned with Operations so we only sell what we can deliver properly.
You'll retain ownership of strategic accounts. Smaller accounts transition to Client Success once established. You are here to create real revenue.
You Must Have Industry Experience
You must have experience in one or more of the following:
• Custom Apparel
• Print
• Promotional Aroducts
• Uniforms or Workwear
• Production-based or custom manufacturing environments
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in custom apparel, print, promotional products, uniforms, or manufacturing is required.
You understand margin, production capacity, and the commercial realities of selling custom work. You know why winning the wrong job hurts the business.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
