The Account Technology Strategist (ATS) role bridges Microsoft's solutions with customers' business goals, acting as a de-facto Chief Technology Officer. The ATS guides the technology strategy to align with business objectives, partnering with leadership to understand objectives, technology landscape, and regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Relationship Development: Build relationships with senior customer technology stakeholders.
* Enterprise Architecture & Roadmapping: Develop a deep understanding of customer business challenges and processes at a strategic level.
* Innovation & Thought Leadership: Introduce emerging technologies (AI, Machine Learning, analytics, etc.) in ways that create business value for the customer.
* Strategic Business Conversations: Engage in high-level discussions with customer business and IT leaders to connect technology initiatives with business outcomes.
Requirements
* Experience: 6+ years of experience in technical consulting, technology solution sales, enterprise architecture, or similar positions.
* Enterprise Technology Knowledge: Proven ability to understand complex IT environments and map technology solutions to business needs.
* Knowledge of Enterprise Technologies: Broad knowledge of cloud platforms, applications, data analytics, security frameworks, and Microsoft's product portfolio.
* Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen and ability to grasp customer business models, financial services products, and competitive pressures.
* Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to engage with C-level executives and build trust and influence.
This role is part of Microsoft's enterprise account team, working closely with the Account Executive and virtual teams of specialists and partners to ensure successful alignment of Microsoft's offerings with customer needs.
