Bangalor Retreat is a Residential Aged Care facility based in Tweed Heads West which includes a Secure Dementia Specific area. We are seeking a Kitchen Hand / Dining Attendant to work at our Bangalor Retreat Facility.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Bangalor Retreat team. To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Possess empathy and understanding the needs of our elderly residents
- Flexible to work shifts as rostered
- Current national police check
- Current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates
- Current Influenza Vaccination Certificate
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Adaptable to change and enjoys working in a team environment
- Have Australian work rights
Specific functions and responsibilities include:
- Cold larder / sandwich preparation
- Attend dining rooms
- Dish washing
- Cleaning and kitchen maintenance
- Food preparation
- Tasks as assigned by the Chef
