Territory manager, neurosurgery (12 months contract) (richmond)

We have an exciting chance for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Australia Cranial & Spine Technology sales team in Victoria. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share by promoting our Neurosurgery portfolio to key surgeons and clinical staff.

As a Territory Manager reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will:

• Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Provide technical and case support to customers in the theatre.
• Develop, build, and strengthen long‐term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Pursue leads, assess needs and provide product services to maximize the advantages derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
• Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services.
• Conduct market research on customers and competitors.
• Implement market development plans and strategies and change them as needed.
• Support clinical cases outside of normal business hours as part of a rotating on‐call roster.

• Must‐have: A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or a Business related discipline.
• Must‐have: Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a track record of success in medical devices.

• Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within operating theatres.
• Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff.
• Self‐motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results.
• Successful applicant will take part in a rotating on‐call roster to provide clinical support in cases that occur outside of normal business hours.
