**About this Incredible Opportunity**:
In a period of growth, NBL Media is expanding to create a higher volume of video content for owned channels as well as external channels to promote game viewership and increase awareness. The role of Video Content Editor will primarily focus on producing and editing promotional video content that will be utilised by the NBL and its broadcast partners.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Edit video content to promote NBL broadcast coverage for digital, TV and other formats
- Collaboration with NBL Media Broadcast team and production on pre-produced packages including openers and features
- Working closely with NBL broadcast partners to understand their needs and producing promotional content that fits the brief provided
- Ideation of video content for NBL and associated digital channels, as well as editing for digital/social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok
- Working with NBL Clubs to support video production needs as required alongside the NBL Club Engagement Team
- Assisting with projects and activities for the NBL's related properties including but not limited to 3x3Hustle and NBL1
- Content management, uploading and tagging of metadata within the NBL's video management solution to publish content across the NBL and Club websites as well as the NBL App
We are looking for a video editor with 2-3 years of experience to support our wider digital team. This person will ideally have a love of the game and be passionate about developing quality promotional videos for the league. Other key requirements include
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Creative Suite
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a bonus
- Understanding of industry standard broadcast video formats and delivery methods
- Knowledge of digital and social media trends particularly as they relate to video
- Interest in basketball and understanding of terminology
- Basic understanding of video content management systems and metadata/tagging
- Ability to adapt to fast moving environment and proactive nature when it comes to decision-making in isolation
