Culinary Expert Wanted
We are seeking a skilled Culinary expert to work full-time, permanent & ongoing at our fine dining restaurant in Toowoomba.
Key responsibilities include menu creation, culinary skills, food quality control, cooking techniques, and kitchen staff management.
The ideal candidate will have Australian work experience in a busy kitchen/restaurant, knowledge of health and safety regulations, and ability to work flexible hours.
A strong understanding of food storage, special dietary requirements, and cost estimation is essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring food quality, regulating cooking equipment, and supervising kitchen operations.
Maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, estimating product requirements, and overseeing inventory and stock control are also key aspects of the role.
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
You will also be required to stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and technologies, and make recommendations for menu development and improvement.
