Electrical Inspector Role Overview:
The position of Electrical Inspector is a critical job that requires extensive technical and electrical knowledge. The successful candidate will conduct complex inspection, investigation, and auditing activities to ensure the safety of consumer installations connected to the network.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements as agreed with energy authorities.
* Conduct inspections on electric installations and prepare reports for non-compliant installations.
* Investigate instances of non-compliance and provide detailed technical reports on electric shocks and fires.
Requirements:
* Current Electrical Workers License - essential
* Designated as an Inspector (Electrical)
* Certificate IV in Government Investigations
* Detailed working knowledge of electrical transmission and distribution networks
