The Role
We're looking for an experienced growth leader to own and drive LawConnect's consumer growth strategy - someone who can take a product with strong foundations and make it a household name, first in Australia and then globally.
As Head of Growth, you'll be part of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Co‐Founder. You'll set the vision for how we acquire, convert, and retain consumers at scale, and you'll build and manage a dedicated growth team of marketers, engineers, and data specialists to execute on that vision.
You'll manage the teams currently overseeing SEM, SEO and CRO, while expanding our growth capabilities to drive the next phase of scale. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, moves fast, and has the ambition to build something truly category‐defining.
You Will Own and Drive
* Consumer growth strategy — defining and executing the vision for how LawConnect becomes the go‐to destination for legal help in Australia, with a clear roadmap for global expansion.
* Growth team leadership — building, managing, and mentoring a dedicated cross‐functional growth team spanning marketing, engineering, and data to optimise acquisition and drive scale.
* SEM, SEO & CRO — overseeing and elevating the teams responsible for search engine marketing, search engine optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation to maximise performance across channels.
* Acquisition and funnel optimisation — experimenting across the full consumer funnel — from awareness through to job submission and engagement — to drive conversion and sustainable growth.
* Brand awareness and market positioning — spearheading initiatives to make LawConnect a household name, building brand equity and consumer trust at scale.
* Global expansion — developing and executing the growth playbook for entering new international markets, adapting strategies to local dynamics while maintaining brand consistency.
* Data‐driven experimentation — building a culture of rapid testing, measurement, and iteration across all growth channels and touchpoints.
* Cross‐functional collaboration — partnering closely with product, engineering, design, and commercial teams to align growth initiatives with the broader company strategy.
What You'll Bring
* 10+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or related roles, with significant experience leading growth teams and managing cross‐functional disciplines.
* Proven track record of scaling consumer products — ideally taking a product from early traction to mainstream awareness and adoption.
* Deep expertise across SEM, SEO, CRO, and paid acquisition, with a strong understanding of how these channels work together to drive efficient growth.
* Experience building and leading high‐performing teams of marketers, engineers, and data specialists working in service of growth.
* Strong analytical depth — comfortable with funnels, cohort analysis, attribution modelling, and using data to inform strategy and prioritisation.
* Fluency in AI tools and emerging growth technologies, with an eye for where new capabilities can create step‐change improvements in acquisition and conversion.
* Experience in high‐consideration consumer categories where trust and clarity are critical to conversion (legal, health, financial services, or similar).
* International growth experience or a strong understanding of what it takes to expand consumer products into new markets.
* Comfort with ambiguity and pace. You move fast, adapt readily, and don't need a playbook.
