Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead and manage the operational capacity of Distribution Centres, strategically and operationally, to drive business growth and success. This includes planning, directing, managing, and improving processes to achieve safety, service, cost, and people objectives.
Key responsibilities include leading the strategic direction of the DC in line with company values, providing strong leadership, developing and maintaining relationships with customers, and driving continuous improvement through best practices, compliance, and innovation.
Additionally, the role involves promoting a safe environment, ensuring compliance with WHS policies and procedures, and leading incident investigations and safety observations.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in leadership roles within warehousing and logistics operations, with hands-on experience in high-volume environments.
They will possess strong commercial acumen, budgeting and finance skills, as well as excellent communication, influencing, and decision-making abilities.
