Runcorn Heights State School is looking for a passionate Science teacher for Years 2-6 who is enthusiastic about engaging young learners in meaningful and exciting scientific learning experiences. This role is ideal for an organised and flexible educator who enjoys working collaboratively and contributing to a positive school culture where staff work together to support student success.
You will bring strong behaviour management and the ability to actively engage students, ensuring all learners can participate and succeed. With students coming from a range of diverse backgrounds and learning needs, the successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to differentiate instruction and create inclusive learning experiences that support every child.
As part of a supportive team environment, you will work closely with the Head of Department – Curriculum (HOD-C), who will provide guidance and support in delivering the Science program. A key highlight of this role will be facilitating the school's Science Fair in Term 3, providing students with an exciting opportunity to explore, investigate and showcase their scientific thinking.
