This is an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician with expertise in Microbiology to join our client-focused team.
The successful applicant will receive comprehensive training and support in the technical aspects of the role, including calibration and cleaning of equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with established quality procedures.
* Interpretation of results and accurate LIMS entry.
* Efficient completion of tasks within set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standard.
* Maintenance of a clean, tidy, and organized laboratory environment.
* Support with ad-hoc sampling, sample receipt, and housekeeping tasks.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a high-throughput, client-centric laboratory setting - ideally with commercial laboratory exposure.
* Demonstrated knowledge of chemistry and proficiency in laboratory skills.
* Effective communication and computer literacy.
* Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
* A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) principles and practices.
