Apply your effective organisational and administrative skills to provide high-quality secretariat support to the Office of the Chief Executive.
Within the Department of Education and Training, the Secretariat of the Office of the Chief Executive plays a vital role in facilitating effective communication among various key stakeholders.
As a Ministerial Liaison Coordinator, you are entrusted with providing essential administrative and secretariat support to the Office of the Chief Executive and the Minister for Education and Training. In this dynamic role, your responsibilities include managing the flow of correspondence, documentation, and multiple priorities in a fast pasted environment. You will oversee the timely progress of correspondence, prepare and distribute reports and contribute to the quality-assurance of documents by identifying and rectifying grammatical errors.
Working within a small busy team, your focus on customer service excellence and adeptness at handling competing deadlines are crucial. Your role is instrumental in ensuring seamless coordination and support between the department, the Ministers office, Cabinet office and ministerial councils.
To be successful, you will have demonstrated experience providing effective administrative support for the team with experience in quality assurance of documents including checking grammar and adhering to standards and formatting. Your highly developed organisational, problem solving and attention to detail skills, proficiency in the use of electronic records management systems and ability to priorities tasks in a fast-paced environment will be put to good use. As will your well-developed professional, interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to coordinate executive communications and liaise with stakeholders.
