About This Role
Join a dynamic and growing Medical Imaging team where you'll play a key role in delivering high‐quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting service improvement, education and clinical excellence. In this senior position, you will:
* Perform complex diagnostic imaging examinations across general X‐ray and fluoroscopy services
* Deliver safe, evidence‐based and patient‐centred imaging services within a multidisciplinary team
* Apply advanced clinical judgement in complex patient care and imaging decisions
* Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and support to junior radiographers, students and support staff
* Contribute to service development, quality improvement and research initiatives
* Provide expert clinical advice to colleagues, referring clinicians and key stakeholders
* Support the implementation of new clinical practices, protocols and technologies
* Participate in after‐hours, weekend, night shift and on‐call rosters as required
About You
You are an experienced and motivated radiographer who thrives in a fast‐paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will bring:
* Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology (Diagnostic Radiography)
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
* Queensland Licence to Use Irradiating Apparatus
* Demonstrated experience delivering high‐quality Medical Imaging services in a complex clinical setting
* Strong clinical skills in general radiography and fluoroscopy services
* Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to teamwork
* Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting less experienced clinicians and students
* A commitment to continuous improvement, evidence‐based practice and patient‐centred care
