Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning: Analyse and interpret tunnel plans, RF design specifications, and relevant documentation to identify necessary components and associated costs.
* Cost Estimation: Estimate costs for labour, materials, equipment, and installation expenses for deployment and commissioning stages.
* Material Management: Accurately determine quantities and specifications for required materials.
* Labor Costs: Calculate labour hours required for installation, testing, and commissioning, factoring in conditions, complexity, and potential delays.
* Subcontractor Coordination: Obtain, review, and negotiate quotes with subcontractors for specialised works.
* Risk Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential cost risks, including material delays, access limitations, labour rate increases, and technical challenges.
* Cost Control: Monitor actual project costs against initial estimates, highlight variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
* Tender Preparation: Prepare and submit accurate tender documentation for review by management and the business development team.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with RF technologies, construction estimating best practices, and relevant industry standards.
