We are currently looking for an experienced Analyst to work closely with one of our key clients Gigacomm. Gigacomm is an Australian-owned internet provider that delivers fast and reliable internet using modern technology. They are improving the internet experience for apartments and businesses in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane.
The Role
As a Marketing Analyst for Gigacomm, you'll help track and report on sales and marketing data each day, making sure we can see results across different platforms. This role is great for someone who enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is keen to build experience across sales and marketing platforms and tools.
You'll combine data from our sales and marketing platforms into one source of truth, helping us make better decisions. This includes data from website traffic, marketing platforms, and Salesforce (our sales system). You'll combine data from multiple digital platforms—such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others—to support cross-platform reporting and attribution.
You will also support the analysis of data within a Customer Data Platform (CDP) to understand customer insights and support audience segmentation. This includes looking at opportunities to enrich customer records with data from strategic partners, helping us better understand where customers live, work, and already have relationships.
Experience with Salesforce and marketing data is a plus, as you'll work closely with internal teams and agency partners to consolidate data, prepare reports, and connect information across systems.
What You'll Be Doing
* Build and maintain a central dashboard that brings together data across sales and marketing and aligning it with sales data from Salesforce.
* Ensure accurate mapping of marketing campaigns, lead sources, and conversion across platforms and Salesforce to track the full customer journey from impression to sale.
* Work closely with marketing and technical teams to ensure data flows, UTM structures, and tracking mechanisms support accurate attribution and reporting.
* Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies between digital platform metrics and Salesforce to maintain trust in reporting data.
* Support weekly and monthly reporting by updating figures, highlighting trends, and flagging any discrepancies.
* Look for drop-off points in the customer journey — from campaign clicks through to website visits and sign-up steps.
* Assist in building customer cohorts based on data to support targeting and campaign planning.
* Leverage insights from the CDP to better understand customer behaviours, identify growth opportunities, and refine targeting strategies.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in working with data and an understanding of how to read and interpret marketing metrics (impressions, CTR, CPC, CPM etc).
* Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting will be a strong advantage.
* Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), including segmentation and customer insight generation.
* Good attention to detail and a willingness to double-check data to ensure accuracy.
* Strong understanding of marketing tracking, including UTMs, conversion events, tag managers, and pixel integrations.
* Comfortable working with spreadsheets and reporting tools, and willing to learn new systems and platforms to analyse data.
* A proactive and curious mindset—you like solving problems, asking questions, and learning as you go
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt when things change quickly.
