Overview
Gumbuya World is looking for seasonal Waterpark Lifeguards ahead of the 2025/2026 Summer Holidays.
The Waterpark Team not only aim to ensure all guests have the Best Day Out ever, they are a passionate crew, working amongst all aspects of the Gumbuya's collection of Slides, Heated Pools, Lazy River, Wave Pool and Surf's Up Attraction.

Positions
Summer Lifeguards
Availability
All roles are offered on a casual basis, given the seasonality and trading days of our business. These roles all have various start dates and frequency of work… But we do ask that you are available to work a minimum of 3 weekdays and 1 weekend day per week during both December and January. Successful applicants must be available over our peak period including weekends, school holidays and public holidays. The majority of our shifts are all day, with some afternoon shifts available.
Qualifications
Lifeguards require:
* Current Working with Children Check; Employee Type (under 18 years old are exempt from this).
* First Aid Certificate
* Lifeguard Qualification
* Current Working with Children Check; Employee Type (under 18 years old are exempt from this).
Training and Alternatives
Don't have these qualifications? We run First Aid and Lifeguard courses on site for suitable candidates. If selected and eligible, you must be available to attend training on one of the below combinations of dates.
October 11thor 25th

November 1stand 2nd, or 15th and 16th.
