We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our clients team in the manufacturing sector. This temporary role in Mount Waverley offers an exciting opportunity to support accounting operations effectively.

Description
* Support transactional finance activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, purchase orders, and sales orders.
* Assist with inventory accounting and reconciliations.
* Provide ad hoc support for light payroll processing.
* Collaborate with the Management Accountant and Financial Accountant to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
* Maintain compliance with internal controls and assist with audit preparation.
Profile
* 3-5 years' experience in accounting with a strong transactional background.
* Exposure to manufacturing environments and solid understanding of inventory accounting.
* Familiarity with Epicor ERP, QuickBooks and Xero is highly desirable.
* Strong attention to detail, ability to work autonomously, and a proactive approach.
* Coachable, energetic, and committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
