Add expected salary to your profile for insightsAbout the roleSevron Environmental Contractors is looking for a dedicated Team Leader to oversee our skilled workforce and ensure top-quality tree planting and maintenance services.This full-time role, based in Collingwood, VIC 3066, involves leading a team of skilled labourers and drivers to deliver exceptional tree planting and maintenance services for our clients.What You’ll Be DoingLead and manage a team of labourers and drivers to ensure efficient and high-quality tree planting and landscaping services.Liaise directly with the council to coordinate services and ensure compliance with project requirements.Work closely with the Operations & Delivery Manager to manage current and upcoming projects.Oversee the daily operations of your team, including task allocation, quality control, and progress monitoring.Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and ensure satisfaction with completed work.Maintain accurate records of all work completed including planting, maintenance, and reactive tasks using in-house asset management systems.Provide hands-on support and guidance to your team, demonstrating technical skills as needed.Ensure all Sevron equipment is clean, in safe working order, and serviced regularly.Ensure compliance with vehicle, equipment, and OH&S regulations by maintaining regular communication with office staff.Manage inventory and procurement of necessary materials, such as herbicides, fertilisers, tree cages, PPE, and other essential supplies.Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for motivated individuals with a passion for horticulture and team leadership.
