This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality administrative support within a dynamic academic environment. As part of the Discipline\'s administration team, you will contribute to the smooth operation of teaching, research, and engagement activities by providing proactive and efficient services. You\'ll build strong working relationships across the Business School and University, support key processes such as curriculum coordination, casual staffing, and event management, and help maintain essential resources and systems. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact through continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key responsibilities
provide Discipline specific administration services and operational support
provide general day-to-day administration support to the Discipline and ensure continuous improvement of administrative processes
manage Discipline resources and staff building access
Maintain and update the Discipline\'s website, social media channels, and noticeboards with relevant content
contribute to continuous improvement by reviewing administrative systems and supporting ad-hoc projects and initiatives
About you
You enjoy working as part of a team and possess excellent communication and administration skills, preferably in a tertiary environment. You use sound judgement and utilise effective and tactful verbal and written communication and possess other skills as follows:
advanced skills with Microsoft Office, Concur and UniBuy and experience with Workday, Sharepoint, Timetabling, Canvas and Swift Digital
initiative and strong problem-solving skills
ability to understand and action tasks appropriately and in a timely manner
continuous improvement mindset for administrative practices and processes
ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently and develop productive relationships with other professionals and academics
excellent time and workload management skills with the ability to manage interruptions and changes to work priorities to achieve deadlines
experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
Work rights
