**Who are they?**

You will be joining a business that is at a major inflection point and set for major growth this year. They are 30 people, with offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
They are well financially backed by high profile Australian enterprises in the tech community. The reason as to why they have attracted such investors is because they KNOW how important their product is, and how it is solving a problem faced by millions around the world.
The leadership team from the CEO through to management, all come from engineering backgrounds working with some very well known names in the market.

**What will you be doing?**
Coming from a background in Wireless Telecommunications (e.g. WiFi, Radio Mesh Networks, LTE etc). You will be part of an engineering led business, focused on leading a small, but talented group of software engineers (mix of Firmware Engineers, C++ Software Engineers and Cloud based Web Application Developers) and continuing to work on their IoT product.
You will be a good people manager and have a knack of recognising your team members' strengths and capabilities.
You'll know what's a realistic time frame to complete projects and be aware of the latest cloud technologies, hardware and trends in the IoT and Connected Devices Domain.
Some of your work will be low level, firmware development so you'll work close to the hardware interfaces like SDIO, SPI and I2C as you implement new protocols. It means working with FreeRTOS and micro-controller architectures like STM32 or ESP32.
You'll also know which part of the AWS IoT ecosystem fits best with the architecture.
Apart from providing technical leadership for your team, you'll code in C++ and C in an ultra-low power, highly constrained environment.
You'll have plenty of problems to solve around FreeRTOS, bootloader, device driver, interrupt handlers and DMA routines.
