We are entering an exciting new phase with a near-new centre and are seeking an experienced and values-driven Centre Director to lead our Beaconsfield service and play a key role in shaping its future.
The Opportunity
As the Centre Director you will be a visible, hands‑on leader who enjoys being present in the centre, supporting educators, building strong relationships with families, and driving operational excellence. This is a role for someone who enjoys leading people, building culture, and creating momentum. You will have the autonomy to lead the centre while being supported by an engaged ownership team that values quality, transparency, and long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop a stable, engaged and high‑performing team
* Deliver a safe, high‑quality education program aligned to EYLF, NQS and NQF
* Drive occupancy growth through family engagement and community connection
* Oversee centre operations, compliance, and quality improvement
* Coach, mentor and develop educators at all stages of their careers
* Prepare and lead the centre through Assessment & Rating
* Build strong relationships with families, the local community and stakeholders
About You
* Minimum 5 years experience as a Centre Director / Centre Manager
* Diploma and/or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA approved)
* Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQF, National Quality Standards and Regulations
* Proven leadership and people‑management skills
* Experience leading a centre through Assessment & Rating (highly regarded)
* Confident communicator with strong personal presentation
* Current Working With Children Check (VIC)
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certifications
