We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Warehouse Officer (FULL TIME) to join our team in the Transportation industry. The Warehouse Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operations of our warehouse, which is integral to the overall supply chain process.
* This position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety and organizational standards, and facilitating the smooth handling of goods from receipt to dispatch.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate records.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential as the Warehouse Officer will work closely with Management to maintain inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. The Warehouse Officer will also be tasked with implementing best practices for warehouse management and efficiency.
* This position requires a proactive individual who is capable of working independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.
* The Warehouse Officer will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and systems.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
* Prior Transport Industry experience
