We are seeking a technically strong Payroll Specialist to take ownership of payroll operations, whilst working cohesively in a high performing team environment. The Position As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for, but not limited to: Manage end-to-end payroll processing across various entities Handle weekly and fortnightly pay cycles Preparation of superannuation contributions and workers compensation payments, including all monthly and quarterly reconciliations Prepare and post payroll journals in line with finance requirements Interpretation of EBAs and Awards Ensure compliance with legislative and policy obligations Maintain accurate payroll records and respond to staff enquiries About You Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing In-depth understanding of EBAs and Modern Awards Previous experience in Aged Care, Health Care or NFP highly advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset Proficient in payroll systems and intermediate Excel Additional Information Join an organisation with a genuine people-first culture Hands-on role with autonomy and visibility across the business Work with a supportive and collaborative finance team Fixed-term contract with stability and clear scope Attractive salary Benefits We strongly encourage applications from people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, and people of all identities and experiences who are passionate about making a difference.
